Mr Ultra CDP II had to go back to the factory.

Big thanks to CCWI, inboost and WKC for the help identifying the problem and the prompt replies. I can only hope that the Kimber folks are as helpful.

This forum continues to be a great resource.

Now it's just waiting to get my baby back... argh!

IICR I think same issues since day 1. It was good for a bit then he had issues and i think after many many hundreds of rounds, still mis-feed issues and when you chamber a round and either pull back on the slide or use slide stop to release, the slide moves forward like slow motion.

I have had very good turn around from Kimber on two occasions 7-8 days. "A Guy" has a lot of pull at Kimber and well, he is the man!

He had a sticky sear problem. First time I've seen that.

Please pardon my ignorance, but I did a search on the acronym IICR, and it had nothing to do with guns. Please enlighten me.

My money is on it being a typo for IIRC (if i recall correctly).
