I guess most of the founding members are from Orange County/So Cal? I noticed there are not many, if at any, founding members from Northern California.

Orange County has been, until recently, arguably the most CCW friendly large urban city in California. This makes it unique among it's neighbors, particularly in Southern California.

In Northern California, CCW has not been much of an issue. Not just because CLEOs are more likely to issue, but because there is, unfortunately, a greater amount of apathy toward CCW in the Northern California Counties.

There are many No Cal Founding Members and Senior Members. With all the OC activity lately, you just don't see them as much. In most of their counties, they get their CCW's at the hospital when they are born..

Exactly... They get their CCWs and then there is nothing else for them to do for two years... So why should they hang out here??? its a none issue...

I suspect when California goes shall issue, this site will go away too.

I surly hope you are wrong. There still is much information to be learned about laws, carry issues, what works and what doesn't. If it was not for this site, I would never have met "A Guy", and FI.

They still have a handgun ban. They're ignoring the SCOTUS. It's gonna take years of more lawsuits to get it right.

As long as our legislature, courts and executive branches are controlled by liberals (or in Arnold's case...married to one) - we can forget about it.

Heres whats going to happen with Heller Part 2. He has sued in Federal District Court. 95% says hes going to win that case, without trial (as there are no disputes of fact, only law) before the end of the year. The District will ask for a stay pending appeal. That stay WILL NOT BE GRANTED because the likelihood is they will lose on appeal. (meanwhile, they have to give Heller his license). The DC Circuit (Who PREVIOUSLY RULED IN HIS FAVOR) will rule in his favor again. DC will appeal to the Supreme Court who will deny Cert.

Incorporation of the 2nd amendment will be done within 18 months or so... Its about the most clear issue ever. HELLER CLEARLY STATES IT IS A FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT That PREEXISTED THE FOUNDING of the Nation and that equals incorporation.

I have yet to hear a single cogent argument that it wont be.
