I would say that the code doesn't address CCWs because whoever wrote it probably never even considered the fact that a citizen might legally carry. I don't see how a city can write in a code something that over-rides a right granted by the state. Couldn't every little burg just write up a code that says CCWs issued by the state aren't recognized by their city?

Take Orance county muni code 2-5-237 or even Mission viejo municipal code Sec. 13.04.030. for park and city parks
There is no wording or exemption for LEO. With the Airport it does expressly say only LEO. But where it is not clarified it could fall back to: Muni code 202 202. General Law Governs. Except as expressly set forth in this charter, the general law set forth in the Constitution of the State of California and the laws of the State of California shall govern the operations of the County of Orange. This is an item for discussion not a statement. |
