Private property owners can 'not allow ccw in their establishment' all they want. They've got to follow California Penal Code Section 602 (et. seq.) and ask you to leave if they don't want you there. If you don't leave when asked you can be charged with trespassing.
Passing a 'no weapon/ccw/gun' sign is not trespassing all by itself.
Passing a 'no weapon/ccw/gun' sign at certain local establishments/venues and somehow winding up being reported to your issuing agency will get your CCW license pulled if it's issued by a certain local jurisdiction.

We went to the Greek Theater in LA a couple of nights ago. I wasn't carrying since I planned to have wine with dinner, but I was interested in their policies.
On their website they list a no weapons, no cameras, no alcohol policy.
I looked carefully at the venue, but did not find any signs.
They conducted a cursory search of my wife's small purse. They missed the digital camera, the knife and the vodka.
Before the concert began they had an announcement that pictures were OK, please do not use flash, no video.
