I think this thread went a little sideways. I think CCWInstructor thought we were still talking about airports. Cities cannot override your CCW except in very specific locations, as has been mentioned here. Otherwise, we wouldn't have people here who could honestly brag about CCWing in San Francisco. They cannot establish their entire city as a gun free zone.

If you don't leave when asked you can be charged with trespassing. Passing a 'no weapon/ccw/gun' sign is not trespassing all by itself. Passing a 'no weapon/ccw/gun' sign at certain local establishments/venues and somehow winding up being reported to your issuing agency will get your CCW license pulled if it's issued by a certain local jurisdiction.

They can not do a blanket ban. State will trump that. They can ban by location IF the state has not pre-emptied that location.
