You know, if you're trying to actually use camouflage coloring on a ccw -

shouldn't it be Skin Pink or Undershirt White?

Default What I Put On My App

I just sent in my app and put my three choices on it:

- Colt Mustang Plus II .380

- Springfield Ultra compact V-10 .45

- Glock 23 (.40)

I like the mustang because it is flatter than my SW model 60 and the balistics of Corbon's .380 come close to a .38 (or so I have read, I could be dead wrong here). This will fit better in a pcoket or under my suit coat.

My V-10 was a complete mistake. It is ported and that is going to be a problem. I hope I can have that changed. If so, then I am in the market for a new Kimber.

Glock: can't go wrong here. They are not my favorite handguns but they are reliable, simple to maintain and it does not hurt to carry what the PD's are carrying.

But I effed up on the V-10.

Anyone have any thoughts on these choices?

Huh? I... I don't know that.

Boing... Auuuuuuuugh.

How do know so much about swallows?

Well, you have to know these things when you're a king, you know.

you can change them. what you put down on the application in regards to weapons has no meaning. once you'll be approved and take the training you need to worry about it.
I would personally not mix and match single action/safe action/double action systems. JMHO.

Everyone-

Thank you very much for your replies. I appreciate your input and recommendations very much. Here's what I had in mind S&W 340PD (Scandium), S&W M&P40 & ?? .45acp (probably Kimber or similiar).

Yep. My wife just applied, she listed a S&W 66-1 on her application as a placeholder.

Your 340 PD, M&P 40 and O frame is not a bad mix. The smallest is still "big enough" and you have a range from small to large. It's not far off from my mix.

BUT - Glock 32 has a point. You have 3 completely different trigger actions, three different sets of muscle memory to train.
