Default CCW in California

If you are a member of this site, chances are you are a steadfast believer in the 2nd Ammendment and the RKBA. The fact of the matter is that at this point in time it is not a right, it is a priveledge granted to very few of us. It is up to us as responsible gun owners and CCW License holders to change the perception of those who are anti-gun and anti-CCW.

"That which we do not understand frightens us."

The above quote probably identifies most of those that are "Anti". They do not understand that we come from all walks of life and would be shocked to know that we carry on a daily basis. We are not "lug booted thugs", we are respected members of the community. We are not vigilantes, we are individuals who have made the choice to defend ourselves and our families as best we can. We have nothing to prove to anyone, we are who we are and nothing more. If we are CCW License holders, we have been through background investigations satisfying the issuing authority that we are indeed trustworthy enough to be entrusted with carrying a concealed weapon.

Everyday we arm ourselves we are ambassadors to the world. How you act in this forum and how you act in the real world is a direct reflection on all ofus. Go out and make us proud.

Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!
