Talking Got utah permit yesterday!

Took about 65 days but atleast 6 of those were because of my sending in the wrong print card. (Make sure you get a Utah card from your instructor)
Now to make a trip to Reno for Nachos and Ammo! Hmmmmm, which Walmart to choose?

I'm taking a road trip to Zion next month...I'm hoping I'll have mu UT permit by then. The check was cashed about three weeks ago, but I mailed the paperwork over a month ago.

Sent in my check the last week of March and it was cashed April 14. Their web site says they are getting all of them out within 60 days, as they are required. I think that means within 60 days of cashing the check.

FYI, Utah will accept any other states CCW permit.

Good point...thanks for the reminder. We'll be stopping in Vegas to and from UT...that is where I'd really want to be able to carry.

Actually, one school of thought is that yes, you can have too many. Depending on where you apply for your CA permit, some agencies may look at it as CCW collecting if you have a number of permits before you apply for your CA permit...that's what's been discussed here before, for what it's worth.

I haven't heard of it being an issue yet, but I have to imagine that it could be easily explained of you travel a lot, etc.

Wife & I go to Mesquite (NV) often for vacations. We usually go to Vegas while we are out there. That's why I applied for the Utah.
