Default Let the Liberal Spin Begin........

BLACKSBURG, Va. (Associated Press) -- Long before he boiled over, Virginia Tech gunman Cho Seung-Hui was picked on, pushed around and laughed at because of his shyness and the strange way he talked when he was a schoolboy in suburban Washington, former classmates say.

Chris Davids, a Virginia Tech senior who graduated from Westfield High School in Chantilly, Va., with Cho in 2003, recalled that the South Korean immigrant almost never opened his mouth and would ignore attempts to strike up a conversation.

Once, in English class, the teacher had the students read aloud, and when it was Cho's turn, he just looked down in silence, Davids recalled. Finally, after the teacher threatened him with an F for participation, Cho started to read in a strange, deep voice that sounded "like he had something in his mouth," Davids said.

"As soon as he started reading, the whole class started laughing and pointing and saying, `Go back to China,'" Davids said.

Cho shot 32 people to death and committed suicide Monday in the deadliest one-man shooting rampage in modern U.S. history. The high school classmates' accounts add to the psychological portrait that is beginning to take shape, and could shed light on the video rant Cho mailed to NBC in the middle of his rampage at Virginia Tech.

I guess it's not his fault after all. It's the fault of the ugly Americans and their materialistic culture. BULLSH*T!!!

Well... there is no doubt Cho is the killer and he is at fault for the mayhem on Monday. I think the story is trying to see how he became a killer or what drove him to have the hatered he possessed. Kids are kids and do do mean things. I switched 5 schools from 1st grade to 12th and entering every school... I had to, kinda, prove myself and at 2 schools... it meant going up against the biggest bully in school. The first few weeks at a new school... I was watched and are pretty much a loner and sometimes teased. Until you "mix in" with the crowd... you don't belong... especially if you are culturely different than the rest of the school. I was fortuneate enough to find my niche group at every new school I went but have seen a few people... Asian, black, even white that simply cannot find their niche group and are alienated... those are the ones that are usualy pretty f-ed up especially during the teen years. The sad part is... once you are alienated... everyone teases you... and I'm ashame to say I have also teased a few loners during my teen years.

I guess my point is... his enviroment did not help him to grow up as a socially acceptible person and that sparked the hatred within him which turned him into a monster. It is no one's fault but his own... but the teasing during his teen years did not help him at all.
