Talked to Melissa a few days ago... still pending.

So today I opened up my mail and I see a standard size envelope with PSD stamped on it... I thought, "Great, REJECTED & DENIED!!!"

Open it up, instead it was a reference letter for a buddy applying for OCSD.

Whew!

The wait continues....

The LT. was out for 3 weeks and they have been flooded with apps lately for some reason. It started about 90 days ago.

Today was a mixed day.

I received a denial letter from PSD concerning the CCW app. Obviously, not stating why they did so, so I will never know.

But received other items in the mail I've been waiting for. I guess it all balances out.

I guess I have to try again next year.

Thanks to all for all the help and encouragement.

When OCSD turned me down a few years ago, the letter said I did not have an adequate cause. Did they tell you anything?

I'd strongly suggest you contact CCWI for help with an appeal. You have 90 days.

Precisely. Don't give up yet. You are entitled to appeal.

No, it did not say anything on the letter. Nothing about inadequate cause either. If I remember correctly, it stated that they are not required by law to disclose why they denied me.

If it's okay with the founders here, can I post the actual letter here? Or parts of?
