Urgent Message to our forum members regarding Good Causes

Folks,
CALCCW is here to help you get your CCW. We are here to help you make sense of rules, regulations, procedures and policies as we understand them in your location of issuance. We will look over your good cause (if requested) and tell you if it makes sense or not but we will not write one for you. As a matter of fact we have a rule about that: THIS SITE PROHIBITS WRITING OF GOOD CAUSES FOR OTHERS!

Why? Cause good cause is your own. If someone writes it for you, then it's no longer your own: it's someone elses. That is also why we discourage members from sharing their good causes as they have a tendency to become cookiecutter good causes should they leak out.

Any user who is caught providing a cookiecutter good cause to someone is going to be banned with no warnings issued.
