I believe it is one of the easiest places in Cali to receive one. YMMV

I recently took my renewal class with El Gato's wife in Kernville. They run a great program and the refresher course was packed full of the necessary information presented in a comfortable and friendly manner.
They are the (at least one of) approved trainers for the Mono Co. area and Inyo Co. as well. BTW her homemade cookies rival the best, don't miss out. Best of luck with your endevor. spc

Another Kern Co. resident checking in, I got my CCW about a year ago, I got to say it was easier than I thought. Then again I have a flawless record and have always stayed out of trouble.
