Hey! Congradulations! I'm thinking of getting a Utah permit or Florida one but I'm not sure on the process or how difficult it is. I'm still doing my research. Congrats again!

There is "a guy" on this forum that knows. I seem to remember all you have to do for Florida is request their application, fill it out and send it back with your training/qualification form. Not sure about Utah, but with both you get 38 (?) states with reciprocity.

North Carolina Resident Permit is probably the best one out there, but if you are on the east coast, VA is great

In Florida, if you are military, a copy of your military ID is sufficient for proof of training/qualification.

Smile CCW in TEXAS

http://www.texasonline.state.tx.us/NASApp/txdps/chl/common/jsp/welcome.jsp

here is the link in case anyone decides to move to Texas, I cannot believe how easy it is. 1. Have a clean record, no recent stupid issues, just like cali. 2. A valid TX license or an id card and a valid credit card. 3. a good internet connection and wamo apply and your done. I wondered what was so great about that state.

If you have a Utah non-res, which is honored by Nevada, must you also have a separate one for Las Vegas (Clark County)?

Virginia honors both Utah and Florida. Once again, the golden trio seem to be CA, FL & UT

I recently got the Pennsilvania & New Hampshire CCW.
One was $20 & the other $28.
Real easy if you already have one from your home state. Just filled out one page form & send money. Took about a week for each one.
I only did it because it was sooo easy.

yes, but Virginia is honored by a couple more states than either...especially in the east (assuming you have reason to go out there). Drawback = no non res permits.
