Default Carrying at Disney Orlando

Found this on Glock Talk...the CCW'er was caught by Disney security. Not sure it would be handled the same way here since FL is shall issue and the cops and security probably have a different mindset about CCW. Interesting to know however, if you plan to travel there. Also interesting is his comment that FL law doesn't restrict CCW at Disney and when the cop mentioned the signs, his (CCW'er) response was that they didn't carry any legal weight (and the cop didn't challenge him on it.) Also, because FL is shall issue, I'm sure it's harder to get your permit pulled...here it just takes a call or report to PSD.

Wow, I thought he was going to say that the infra red security cameras caught him while he was adjusting it in the dark. It wasn't anything cool like that though. He was just being lazy and got caught.

On this part of the story. He was lazy/stupid. If he did not want to go the 1 hour round trip to retrieve his suitable cover garment, he should have bought one in the park that would be suitable.

Hey as a CCW holder it is our responsibility to not expose our firearm in public. ESPECIALLY in the environment he was carrying in. You have to at least show that level of respect to the business owner IMO.

He needed to be carrying a CDP! He was carrying a G23...a bit too large to comfortably carry for CCW (I know from expereince.) Also, I'm guessing he was carrying OWB.

My normal conceal carry is a G23 at my 3 o’clock under a loose t-shirt, however whenever I push my Fathers wheel chair I’m slightly bent forward and the pistol prints big time so I also wear a short sleeve shirt unbuttoned to cover it.

About 30 minutes into our visit at the MK I realized that I left the button shirt in the car and since it’s a long walk + monorail trip back to the car I did without the shirt. I got into a routine of sliding my pistol from 3 o’clock to 1 – 2 o’clock position whenever I would get on and off the rides
Above is from Glock Talk.

Ummmm now is when I go to one of the hundreds of souvenir shops in MK and buy me a button up Tigger shirt.

Yes he is probably carrying OWB if he is sliding it back and forth EVERY time he gets on or off a ride.

They should have just booted him from the park!

So if keeping your "concealed weapon" concealed is inconvenient we don't have to do it?
