Default Anybody care to share their story on 20/20?

If you have a personal story to share, click on the link. I'm predicting they're going to make a segment out of it:

Gun Used In Self-Defense? Tell '20/20'!

April 6, 2007 — Have you ever defended yourself from a crime in your home, in your business, or in public by using a gun? Perhaps you warded off a potential attacker by simply showing a gun?

40 states now allow their citizens to obtain conceal-carry permits for handguns. Some people say that's dangerous, while others say it allows them to protect themselves.

If you have a story of self-defense involving the aid of a gun and would like to tell it to 20/20, please fill out the form below. A "20/20" producer may contact you.
What do you guys think?

Lets hope they are doing the story for the right reasons. Would hate to see a bunch of guys interviewed that looked as if they just stepped out out of the movie "Deliverance"

This is ABC "News". Based on their history of "news coverage", I doubt they're interested in an RKBA viewpoint.

Based on what ABC has been allowing Rosie O'Donnell to say on the air lately, I also highly doubt they are looking for people that are not the most ignorant inbreds in the country. Even though CCW is a right in 80% of the country (for law abiding citizens) they are probably fishing for stories to support why CCW and guns in general should not be allowed by anyone.

From the NRA website: The NRA encourages anyone with a gun self defense story to send it in to 20/20. To keep up on how many people send a story in, and the details of the story, the NRA would like to be copied at this email address: armedcitizen@nrahq.org or call them at 703-267-1193.

I am not sure how I feel about this 20/20 thing, I can see them turning this into an Anti-gun episode real easy.

Not opposed to people doing it just tentative.

Actually now that I read more about it, if its John Stossel it will be pretty well done and not biased.
