Default to push or not to push

I am still trying to get ahold of anyone in the investigations department at Sacramento County. I have called and left messages---- 3 times. They still have not returned my calls. Based on some of the threads and discussions I have read, Sac County is very hard to get a ccw. I spoke to some people that know other people that have a ccw through Sac County and they said the only way they got their permit is to keep pushing them. The stories I get is that even if you get a denial, they keep trying and eventually they get a permit. I think a denial on your record is not good. If this is the only way to get a permit I should try this method, but not too cool with the idea of denials on my record.. Any thoughts on this from those that have permits in sacramento county.....??

I know several people that pushed and pushed. Never got one. I know people that applied and got them asap. The how thing boils down to how the view your good cause.

Thanks for your reply. I will continue to try to contact them. Hopefully they will call me back.

Do you know if I have to wait for a response or just submit an application then wait for them to call me back??

Where are you in the process? It sounds like you have not submitted your application yet. I would recommend consulting with the experts you have at your disposal here before proceeding any further. If you have any questions feel free to PM me and I will point you in the right direction.

Thank you CalCCW03,
Yes. I have not gone far in this process. As mentioned, I have only tried to leave x3 messages, which have not been returned. There is a longer story behind this, but I will need your expert help in unraveling this puzzle. Thank you again for your offer.
This is definitely a GREAT SITE, for getting expert help and people are genuinely willing to help.

Thank you again......
