This Week in California History
Do you know what happened this week back in 1850, 157 years ago?
* California became a state. * The State had no electricity. * The roads were crumbling. * The politicians were corrupt and/or incompetent. * The State had no money. * Almost everyone spoke Spanish. * There were gunfights in the streets. * There were few hospitals So basically, it was just like California is today, except all the breasts were real and the men didn't hold hands.
