Default New Hampshire CCW

The mailman brought a little envelope from the Dept of Safety, State of New Hampshire. In it was a non-resident pistol/revolver license. Only took about 6 weeks.

I see NH allows carry in 19 states...why did you choose it over Utah?

Do you go to NH a lot, and choose it because they only accept resident permits from other states?

Default NH v. Utah

From what I gather Utah has a 9 - month waiting list. If you check out the resciprocity list, NH is a quick step.

Default Utah

The time line is what I gather from all the posts about Utah.

Utah - I applied 5/29 and received in Mail 10/5. Little over 4 months.

NH - I did it cause it was easy (all you need is a CCW permit from ANY other state), cause it was cheap ($20.00) and cause it's good for 5 years. It was quick turn around too... something like 3 weeks from mailing application to receiving the permit.
