Default noob here, getting utah ccw, I have ?

This is my first post. I will be taking a Utah CCW class tomorow. I assume I will be learnig all the ins and outs of be a ccw recipiant. My question is when I get my Utah ccw, how hard is it to get ccw for CA. I do travel quite a bit throughout the west coast for my job and I do go into some questionable neiborhoods in CA. I do not carry a lot of cash, thats what my company credit card is for but sometimes I fear for my life when I go to a city/CA that i would'nt want to walk through during the day. Is it easier to get a ccw for CA if you already have a ccw from another state. Yes I did search and my eyes are getting tired trying to read everything and not finding answers to these questions. thanks everyone

On behalf of the Founding Members, welcome savageevo.

Having a CCW from another state doesn't help you get one here in CA. UT is a good one to have though. Getting one from Riverside County isn't impossible like getting one from Los Angeles County would be, but it won't be as easy as Orange or San Bernardino counties would be. Hopefully someone with more info will chime in here.

I have also heard that San Bernardino is easier that Riverside Co. My residense in in Riverside Co., I work in San Bernardino county, and I do own a piece of property in San Bernardino County. The application permit specifically states residence. Any ways to get CCW from San Bernardino? Riverside Co. did just get a new Sherriff this week, but not sure if that is good for bad for CCW.

Your Domicile is your primary county. I see permits going down in Riverside county.
