Default HSC Question

Do I need to get my HSC? I am considered Federal LE working with the BoP but all I can find referenced is for Peace Officers.

In order to keep our job during training we have to show proper loading and unloading procedures with a 9mm, M4 and a shotgun. We also have to shoot a course of fire with all 3 and meet minimum requirements to pass. We then have to qualify every year in the same manner. We don't get any certificate or anything like that because it is a requirement of employment.

You may be qualify from HSC exemption under code X32: Federal Peace Officer, If your duty authorize you to carry a firearm. I would suggest to call up CA DOJ to find out if your credential can be used for that exemption. If you don't want to hassle with that, HSC test is only $25 and questions on there should be no brainer for you. Remember, you can miss up to 7 out of 30 questions and still pass...

For my recent gun purchase I couldn't find my HSC. I remembered that a PC832 cert is one of the exemptions, so I used that. Certainly better than paying $25 for an HSC again.

Wouldn't the "no brainer" be that he is a Fed... Call the DOJ? We don't need no stinkin DOJ.
