Red face Home Invasion in Delano

this morning a house few blocks away from mine was robbed at gunpoint.the female homeowner was shot in the head and still in the hospital while the male occupant was badly beaten.this morning also my cousin's house was ransacked but luckily nobody was home because they went to work.few days ago,my mom's co-workers house was robbed and burned but nobody was home.i don't know if its the present economy or the winter season that crime rate is going skyhigh.i'm sharing these stories to inform people of these crimes so they can be prepared and be extra vigilant.these can happen anywhere at anytime.let us all be safe and always take care.god bless!

I think the criminals are getting bolder. I live in the south valley about an hour or so west of Delano. Several businesses in our town including ours got tagged over the weekend. We reported it to the sherriff and painted over it the same morning it was discovered. We paint it in such a way that you can't even tell it was there having learned exactly what paint shade to use to make it match up to the original paint, even taking into account the fading. Well Wednesday night they struck the town again and this time they hit the elementary school and post office. They even left a personal message challenging one of the Sherrif's deputies by name. I've never seen them actually challenge the sherriff like that or paint that much of the town before. Pretty brazen.

Well as the economy gets worse we have more people out of jobs, looking to make money whatever way they can. Then we have more people depressed and angry, and some people choose illegal activity to fix it. Not enough cops on the street to do the job they are asked to do-no room in jails and not enough officers in there either. The government really screwed everything up.

I swear if I ran my house like they ran the government...

Do they have any leads, if they are still both alive then they should be able to mix and match and get an id on the trash, right?

Its about time vigilantieism came back, we need to start hanging these ****s from the limbs of trees in the town park! That might get peoples attention. The problem isnt lack of police, the problem is a social thing, its a lack of quality education, single parents, drugs, violence on tv and video games, idolising people like snoop dog, ice cube and what other idiot rappers there are out there that dont know how to dress themselves. Its a class of people that are living off of the system, government that needs these low socio-economic class and wants them to stay like that as a voting block living off of the system.

But mainly it comes down too, they arent scared of committing crimes, because we as a citizenary dont have the right to kill them for "just" breaking into our homes, stealing our cars or whatever else. If everyone of these idiots that commited these crimes left with gunshot wounds and it was on the news praising the home owner for shooting them, they would be a lot less likely to be breaking ing. Or maybe they just needed to be pulled out behind the woodshed as a kid and whipped good and hard, taught right from wrong, but for a lot of them it is to late now. Oh god, on and on and on.

Default Desperation

Some of these central valley towns have terrific unemployment. Well into the double-digit area. It seems the agricultural based economies are really badly hit. El Centro in the south has a 30% unemployment rate. I think this might be a big part of the problem in these areas.

Stay same and alert out there.

Yes, it's getting bad. Your town and several towns west of you are areas I routinely work. All these towns are getting bad. Kings County is probably not the best county for these little thugs to be calling out a deputy by name.

Default Thanks guys!

thank you guys for your input on this subject.i think we can all agree that all of us were affected by the recent changes in our economy.i don't have that many hours of work now compared to before and i'm having some financial issues also especially with the mortgage payment but i managed to pull through without doing harm to other people.i guess there are just individuals in our society that has already given up humanity for an easy way to survive.we all need to survive but it should not resort to this kind of violent acts.i guess survival of the fittest was now adopted by the criminals from the animal world.let us stay safe and be careful all the time.god bless us all.
