Default Question For The Founding Members/Mods

Why is the no "San Joaquin" thread in the COUNTY FAQ section?

There are 4 threads with info on Orange County, but non for San Joaquin? Don't get me wrong... I love OC. I was born and raised there, I know that many members are from OC, and that it was the "place to be" for CCW (a few years ago) but what gives?

I know it's not because of their unwillingness to issue, otherwise there wouldn't be a San Francisco section

Just curious.
Thanks

I think it has more to do with people on the ground there needing to write up some information for the site to be able to post a FAQ on the county.

Gotcha.

Although I'm in San Joaquin, and I am in the application process, I have to go through my local PD. Unfortunately I cannot be of any help with the SJSD process.

Maybe someone can chime in and help out. I have been seeing a lot of inquiries regarding this area.

Thanks for the quick reply Bonovox

When you're done, you could write up something about the process going through your local PD. We could put that in th county section. It's relevant.

You might start a San Juaquin area info.
You'll find some other people join and a county info gets started. Some might even take the lead at times, which is good. The thing is to first give them a place to roost.

I'll maintain a timeline, then post it up upon completion.

Very cool. An addition to the site like this increases the value to everyone. Folks posting their experiences is how we got to where we are.

Best of luck and thanks for your efforts.

This is how most of the FAQs came to be - either someone in that county writes the FAQ, or someone compiles info from different posts. If a county is missing, it's probably just because no one contributed the information, or no one got around to compiling it from multiple sources.
