Fair enough. I took him to mean that he wanted to be able to carry wherever, and he was wondering if he'd have a better chance of getting a permit if he applied in Yuba where he works, rather than Yolo where he lives. I may very well have misunderstood his post.

I am not equating the Instructors knowledge to regurgitation. Just the folks that always throw out the same "this is the way it is" and no source to follow. If the Instructor has working relationships with a majority of the counties in the state I would give him the benefit that he knows probably better than the average man. I hear this stuff being said all the time, I just wanted a source. I think we are all to aware of the many problems with, and hypocrisy of, the CCW issuance. I don't believe we, as in the common folk here, should just take at face value what we are told about CCW's. Thanks for clearing that up.
