Default SBD October CCW class/range scheduled yet?

I had the interview, but was told that there wasn't a firm date for October yet and I'd be put on a list. Rather than call, I thought I'd ask here. Anyone know of a October date?

I was told the same thing when I had my interview back in June. They said I would be in the August class but didn't have a date for me yet and they would contact me. They called me about 3-4 weeks before the class to let me know what the actual date was. So if they told you the October class then that's pretty solid info. Be expecting a phone call in about a month. They also told me that no news is good news. So be patient and they Will call you. Right now they are starting the B.I. Good luck.

Ya man no prob. Make sure you have everything the form says: birth certificate, a photo copy of your license, the recent bill, 2 money orders, your reference letters, the good cause, rent agreement/house papers, and the gun/s that are locked. Also double check that you didnt leave any blank answers.

Great. Thanks for the reminder of what to bring. Keep us posted when you get that call for the class. We may be classmates in Dec.

Have anyone heard if San Berdo is going to go to a card like permit or keep the same format for the "rice paper"?

I went in on Monday to add a G36 to my SOON TO BE ISSUED permit. One of the changes that was to come with the new set of rules was that you were going to be limited to two guns on your permit. I asked if adding the G36 as my third gun was going to be an issue and they said "not at all".

I know this doesn't answer your question, but it means that at least one of the new changes is not yet in effect.

BTW, Joyce from the SBCSD called me today and asked me to bring her something with a legal description of my house.... I took my sales agreement in initially, but it wasn't adequate. But what I'm getting at.... is that they are working on MY file! On Monday, my BI said I was done with everything but the neighborhood check. I think I am days away from getting the secret decoder ring!
