Default SB County Process

I concur SB process is smoothest I've been thru and I've done been thru Riverside program also. Sounds great so far, background check is definetly checked, be prepared for people in your neighborhood you may not even know come up to you and say they received a phone call about you from the fire/police dept.

Well I had my range class last weekend. Total time from interview to range class was 6 weeks 3 days. Not bad at all. Lots of classroom time. Which i enjoyed very much, very informative. Great staff too!! Except all the what-if's from everybody about other states' CCW policies it was right on target. Personally, for that class, I think we(future applicants included) should concentrate on California Law, not what is legal in AZ. UT. NV. FL. or anywhere else. If that is a concern of anyone, then they should do some research and go apply for a non-res CCW there. Sorry, just had to vent a little. They did answer all the questions the best that they could though. They're pretty patient as well. I honestly had to wonder if some of the applicants had done any research on their own before they started the process or went to the class. Very basic questions that they really didn't know the asnwers too. WOW! There was less than a handful out of about forty. Well, that actually spoke up. So not that bad.

I don't think my neighborhood check is done, because none of my neighbors have told me that they had any visitors yet. I do know all of my refrences have been contacted though. Both by telephone and by mail. So, if I am correct just the neighborhood check is left and hopefully I'll be on my way to WallyWorld for some nachos in the near future.

I will post again as I continue through the process. Thanks again for everyone's support. I love this forum

In mendocino county i started with the class and range test and did live scan when i turned in paperwork. Then the interviewer drove to my house and interviewed me for about 20 minutes.

The Sheriff called me right after he signed my rice paper to tell me it was going in the mail end of the day.
