Hello,
Thanks in advance for any info-Can I carry a single action gun with CCW in riverside county. I am in the process of filing--Yes I will be seeking help with from the founding members in the near future. |

Riverside has no problem with you carrying Loaded, locked and cocked.

There are many of us who have Kimber Ultra compacts as well. I would recommend you try out many different firearms to see what works best for your needs. spc |

I shot a 5" SA 1911A-1 back to back with a 3" Kimber (exact model escapes me right now) but I can say that the 3" made a little more noise and had a little more flash and that was about it. I noticed a slight increase in perceived recoil with the Kimber, but it really wasn't anything more than that. If they both were equipped with the same sights and beavertail grip safety, I'd be very hard pressed to be able to tell which one I was shooting while I was shooting it.
That's my impression of the wee beasties vs full size.
