Default What's in a Law Enforcement Records?

When does a firearm become registered in a person's name with California law enforcement? I did some quick research, but I'm still not totally sure about the following scenarios (answer yes/no registration with law enforcement):

-A handgun is transferred from an FFL dealer to person.

-A handgun is purchased from a gun shop.

-A shotgun is purchased from a gun shop.

-A CCW permit is issued (firearm(s) registered along with permit?).

They enter the DOJ system when they are DROSed (Dealer Reocord Of Sale)

YES

-A handgun is purchased from a gun shop.
YES

-A shotgun is purchased from a gun shop.
Only that you purchased a long gun on that certain date. NO firearm information provided on the DROS.

-A CCW permit is issued (firearm(s) registered along with permit?)
NO. A CCW does not make it registered to you.

Nice. That does sound like a good starter collection.

The 20 plus pages was in 1987. I know what it is now. Yes I found mistakes before I did my own DROS's. I had them corrected, SN#'s.

Two years ago CA-DOJ made the dealer type in the SN twice. They also swipe your CDL thru the reader. That has fixed most of the problems. Buyer's name and SN were the most common errors.
