A month ago I met a gentleman at the range who intended to submit his application for a CCW. I informed him of this forum but he was so ABSOLUTELY sure that he would be approved that he wasn't interested in any advice. He is a martial artist and a security guard who was going to become a body guard for a judge that he knew. What better reason could there be?!?! A week or so ago I saw him again and asked about his CCW status. In a sheepish voice he told me that his application was denied and he couldn't understand why. He still intends to do body guard work but it will be unarmed. A little research through this forum might have helped him financially with his career - OH WELL

It's this kind of hard headed goober that I always wonder if they should carry. Not knowing that you don't know is always a problem.

I personally ask the Sheriff this afternnon if he had heard from the other instructor or had a message from him. His answer was "no, why"? I replied "just curious".

That instructor is not taking care of his students, he got paid, he's happy.

Let me see if I have the facts.

The other instructor has known for over 6 weeks he was giving bad advice.

He continued to hold classes, charge for them and stil give bad advice.

He hadn't called the Sheriff as of yesterday to try and fix it.

One of our founding members steps up to the plate and does the right thing, even though it is not his problem and he didn't make any money from these people.

BOTTOM LINE. One insructor has morals and ethics (OURS). The other one has none.

The problem is back!

The same CCW trainer is doing the exact same thing AGAIN! OCSD-PSD is rejecting ALL good causes that are related to firearms in any way. I fixed his problem last time becuase it was spilling into every other area.

All the denied files are going to be gone through starting with MAY and ending yesterday. If you used the two bad words, you will be approved for further processing. For future reference it is "transportation of Valuable Equipment".

I really don't like fixing other trainers problems, however you the applicants were the ones that got screwed.

If anybody else takes credit for fixing this, you tell them to kiss my Arse!!!!

NOTICE!!!
Do not even think about calling Melessa and asking were your approved for further processing letter is. If you do, I will make sure you are denied forever! It is going to takes weeks to go over all 90 days of files.

Be patient, PLEASE!!!

When you are up fro renewel or need further training. Remember who saved your skin!
I'm waiting to see what happens this time.

WOW, six to seven months later and they are at it again?

Do I see decertification in the near future for that trainer this time?

And this means renewals, too.

To all those "GUEST" that read this post and e-mailed me.

Talk to the person you took the class from. You paid him the money, let him earn it.

The last time he did this, he NEVER returned any phone calls

Ok, I did not exactly read this whole string, but what I got was that there is an instructor out there KNOWINGLY teaching something incorrectly and getting people denied.
How bouts one of these individuals SUE HIS A?#$%@^&**% and make him stop?
