Yes it is the employer's problem, however, being an employee, if the threat comes in and starts corking the place I am in danger as well.

I already had the iwb holster and was able to carry it so I did. After a couple weeks of using it I have become more accostomed to the difference and it's not really too much of a hassle now. Honestly I think it's mostly due to carrying such a fat gun.

Also, I am not here to play security cop. If this person comes in we are calling police on site. If things get out of hand I am here untill LEOs arrive.

As I sit typing this, I just got back from my son's soccer game (not at a school, FYI) and still have my XD 45 Compact (also at my 5:00) in my TT Gunleather IWB.
Comfortable as hell. I use the same IWB for my Kimber too. I recommend the sharkskin upgrade though if you get one.
Hell, if you're coming my way since were relatively close, I'll let you borrow it to try it out.

002, you do know that you can legally carry at your son's school, right?

My understanding also.
Unless placed as a restriction on your CCW by issuing authority.

The only restriction I have on my permit is "under drug or alcohol blah blah blah" so that means I can carry on a campus?

Yes.
In my county they put no CCW on school grounds as an additional restriction.
You should be exempt.
