Well AMS Mike, your are right, if your are referring to a common carrier. I just fly around in my neighbor's Cesna. And as far as Amtrack is concerned; well nevermind. It's a public forum. I'll take the 5th.

I will CC when I walk.
I will CC in my car. I can't shoot that far.
I will CC on a boat, even one that does not float.
I will CC on a plane. I will CC on a train.
I will CC on my bike, or even on a hike.
I will CC in the rain, even if it is a pain.
I will CC when it's sunny. If I'm out hunting bunnies.
I will CC in the dark. I won't light up a Lark.
I will CC in the light, even past twilight.
I will CC when I skate, or even on a date.
I will CC in a church, on pews made out of birch.
I will CC while at school, I'll obey the golden rule.
I will CC in a store, that's for sure.
I will CC in my house, even sleeping on the couch.
I will CC when I fish, even though I might get an itch.
I will CC when I hunt, when using my deer grunt.
I will CC on a trip, even though it rubs my hip.
I will CC when I fly, I won't be the one to die.
I will CC when I eat. I really like this elk meat.
I will CC when I drink, when I’m rinsing out the sink.
I will CC when I'm happy. I won't get trigger slappy.
I will CC when I'm sad. I don't shoot all that bad.
I will CC when in Frisco, while dancing at a disco.
I will CC on my roof. I won't act like a goof.
I will CC in the attic. I won't go spasmadic.
I will CC in the basement. I will watch my finger placement.
I will CC when I swim, even if it's on a whim.
I will CC without a smirk. I won't act like a jerk.
I will CC with my spouse. We might head-pop a mouse.
I will CC for a roll in the clover.
I will CC until it's over.
So where does Dr Seuss fit in, Sam I am?

I prefer to be one of the first two kind and to learn from others' mistakes.

I carry 24/7 unless I know that I will be in a place with security checks (some concerts, soccer matches, ... I only go there if I have free tickets) as I have no confidence in getting back my gun afterwards (they usually have either no storage facilities or maybe a big open box to store "unwelcome" objects).

If the event organizers have to disarm guests to avoid trouble, then it is better to not be there when the expected trouble arrives.

Amen Gunter.....There's enough trouble in the world without going around trying to borrow any.
