Interesting how this story and PT Barnacles account show the witnesses as having VERY different points of view. I wonder if any of the witnesses will go public

Also, that 70 seconds of life after being shot shows through in this instance. Kohan, being a hunter, was dead on for a fatal shot, but Pazoki was still animated for a bit longer. Overall, great interview. I note there were no anti-gun lines slipped in it, considering it is the SacBee.

The peanut gallery will always tell you what should have been done after the fact. I'm sure most of the neighbors weren't even around when it happened. They would tell a different story if their little kids were playing in the front yard and they saw this guy running around stabbing people.

Howdy All:
You are not going to believe this but honest injun, it's true. While seated near the front counter in Evans Shooting World (Orange, CA indoor range), a couple (mid-20s) entered the range. The gal proceeded to place a large purse on the counter and asks Pat (Range Officer) if he could look at a revolver's finish for her? She then took a nickel plated Colt double action revolver out of her purse, cylinder closed, swept me, another enthusiast and wound up pointing the revolver at PAT. For a big guy, PAT can sure move quickly because he swiped the weapon away from him in a direction away from all of us. PAT then removed the weapon from her hands, opened the Colt's cylinder, looked at the finish and informs her the wear is normal for a nickel plated weapon. She then took the weapon from Pat, closed the cylinder and began (without regard to direction) to place it in her purse (no holster- no wonder finish is worn). Excuse me Pat asked, "do you have a carry concealed weapon permt"? No then Pat informed her she could be arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and at least place a lock on the revolver. "Do you have one"? No and reluctanly she agreed to purchase (had to use credit card) a lock that PAT installed and out the door they went with an attitude!! We all gave each other "I don't believe it LOOK". She worked for a government agency (non-enforcement), was very cute (acted the part like Paris H) but didn't have a clue about firearm safe handling! And now you know the rest of the story!! Tough Guy Levi NRA Certified Pistol Instructor |
