Default Wouldn't it be nice

What if the CCW was also an endorsement on your D/L? That would solve a whole buncha problems on reciprocity too. Easy info access and state authorization to carry which would be good in all 50 states if they reciprocate for/to Ca's drivers' license.

Maybe we should lobby for this? And the DOJ issuing the permits instead of the hopscotch county by county way it's done now?

Edit for speelliing.

Let me give yo uthis scenario. You are in a store. You're paying with a check and you have to show your DL. The DL shows that you carry a gun......

You are in a situation where you have a concealed firearm and a holdup is occuring. The way things are going, inaction is best action. You do have to hand over your wallet though. The BG looks at your DL and sees that your ID shows that you might have a gun.

Need I go on?

On my D/L there's a small place which says "Endorsements: None" This is in VERY small type which seems to be getting smaller as I get older.

How hard would it be to have this say "CCW"? Most people wouldn't know what that was even if you pointed it out to them when showing your D/L for identification. A criminal who gets your wallet & ID when you have a CCW, understands the endorsement, and somehow decides to rob you again for your guns?

But, for the sake of argument, my D/L also has a magnetic strip on the back. If the CCW endorsement was only coded into the mag strip and the DMV computer system but not visible anywhere else, then all the problems would be solved.

I think it'd be a good thing. But that's just me I guess.

I'm very sorry, I don't understand the meaning of this part of the sentence. Please explain it to me,

"I was in luck he was a sergeant,"

Nor this one:

"I've been told that Chippies tend to deal with a better class of customer, might afffect the mindset."

From Webster's American Heritage Dictionary: chippie (slang) : :A female prositute.

We don't put heads on pikes here. Individuals that get banned just cease to continue.

My mistake entirely. When I read the response from 1Buba below my post, that the above statement was made by a person that was banned during this thread, I thought it referred to me... So I got confused. Sorry.

I was confused too for a minute or two.

Hello 1buba, good to hear from you again. It's been a long time. Oh, and by the way that little minx of a Colt Mustang .380 is shooting some mighty fine groups. Want to get together and do some more shooti'n? Python2 can come if he wants as well. I hear he has grown vertically about three feet.
