Default Some CCW Fail Today

I carry a Gkock27 IWB every day.Today I Carried My Sig P229 IWB,for the first time. The holster I have sux and I know it.At My Daughters Basketball game this afternoon I hear, behind Me one little guy say to His buddy,"Yo Homie, that Foo is packing heat."So I feel if it's exposed or printing and sure enough it's printing pretty bad.DOH! the Kid had it right ,I'm a "Foo"
So I went out to the truck and locked it up,in case He told somebody, and the law got involved. I'm pissed at My self, this was not good.
So the question for the forum is,Has this happened to You?What did You do about it?
BTW I've never been "made" before this afternoon.

Since you have a CCW license, I do not understand why you would lock up the gun in your vehicle. The gun, according to your statements, was never exposed and you violated no law.

I bet most of the time people are "made", the person seeing the gun just assumes you have the right to carry. Now if you're dressed like a thug, then that's another story.

I think you did the right thing with locking the gun up, but I can see how some will disagree and say you should have gone to the restroom to reposition the gun.

Maybe experiment with other holsters. Lots of holster info in the archives.

No law, just concerned the Kid would tell someone and they would call the law.

What would concern me most would be that word would get around and I'd fall under the scrutiny of the other parents and school workers. Even though I would know I was in the right, nobody likes to be called into the principle's office!

Unfortunately, it is probably incidents like this that eventually cause Sheriff's to list schools as restricted areas in some counties. I'm sure they don't appreciate calls from angry, concerned parents of school children. Afterall, re-election may be around the corner.
