Derringer, when you get yourself some firearm training, they will instruct you in what’s called ‘Master Grip’, anything else is still finger on the trigger.

no , in this scase it is not just concealed but "concelaed carry" which is opposite of "open carry".

by all means you should "carry concealed" but don't go off the deepend in a fit of paranoia to the point of being unable to retrieve your weapon in a safe and speedy manner when needed.

that is the purpose of carrying it . not to contest see how well you can hide it.

There is some confusion here about safe methods.

No question about who is a jerk, however.

paul0660, and what firearms training have you had??? Probably none. Let me show the Master Grip from the finger side so it’s clear to even you, finger is parallel to the bore axis, and nowhere near the trigger, get it?

Unless Derringers carry method is designed to shoot someone from behind your back, it is completely unsafe, period. And there is no range anywhere on the planet, that any sane Match Director or Safety Officer would let you try that draw, because it automatically breaks the 180-degree rule by sweeping everyone up range, surely you have heard of the 180 rule? Unless you have never been to a real range, of course. Down range is towards the targets, and uprange is towards the rest of the squad. So where do you practice such a technique? I have seen some pretty stupid stuff in 41 years of competition, but nothing, ever, has come close to that.

Not even the models on the front cover of my Dillon Blue Press magazines have their fingers on the triggers, lol.

Back to printing, I have to say there is no way to not print in every body position possible. Its gonna happen and nobody typically spots it so who cares. Those that are that concerned are going to carry something so small they arent good at shooting it or they are going to cover it to the point of not being able to get it out quickly.

For me I will take some printing with my 21sf which I CCW and actually compete with in USPSA matches where I know I am good using it. If I can score like I do under the clock and at a match made to challenge a shooter I know I have nothing to worry about when it comes to my skills in a SD situation. If I pull out a tinny gun and try to compare it aint going to be close and that is a deal breaker for CCW since the only thing little guns do is conceal well but nothing else.

Norco running gun is this Sat and I will take some more vids to prove my opinions arent from shooting 500 rounds a year. I am still young and new to this but am very dedicated to the privilege I have been given. I will uphold my end of the bargain by actually practicing and being proficient with the firearm I carry along with being a law abiding citizen.

Brian_1911, you mean Not even the models on the front cover of my Dillon Blue Press magazines have their fingers on the triggers???

like this??? That finger looks suspiciously parallel to the bore axis to me.... Not even close to the trigger, not even not, not touching, at all. Could that be because Mike Dillon, himself, supervised the camera shoot, and said, never, ever, never, show anything but Master Grip, otherwise the whole rest of the shooting world would consider us unsafe.

Finger looks a little low for my expert training. I prefer it above the trigger guard and not right down the middle of it. But who am I?

But I hardly noticed the firearm in the photo anyway.

Bono, well plus it's a S&W auto, so the trigger guard is designed for gardening gloves... Never the less, her finger is outside of the trigger guard,

Now I want to see a Dillon model with a cavalry saber....she can put her finger anywhere she wants to on it...as far I'm concerned...
