I was going to get dinner at 245 in the morning had worked until midnight decided I was hungry and went to the casino across the street and had a guy try to rob me.
He was coming at me and reaching into his pocket for what I correctly guessed was a weapon and held him at gunpoint until the police came. I had him face down on the ground when the cops showed about 2 minutes was all it took the cops to get there. The cop who responded was a friend of mine and told me guy was a convicted felon already. Well hope he likes going back to the greybar hotel for a while. Was carrying in my fanny pack holster.

Casino area... 245am...dirtbag rushing him with hands reaching for what appeared to be a weapon.... I'd do the same thing and just as fast.

You can't fool around in Reno...! Lots of robberies.

I've had to point my gun on someone in Reno. Last year actually. He was sneaking around behind my parked truck and we didn't notice him until we were inside and I got a glimpse of him in my side mirror croutching back there. When he saw that I saw him...he rushed my window which was cracked about 6". It was tinted and we were sitting in my then F-350 4x4 which sits high. He got so close...so fast, that he saw the dark glock in my hand pointing at him from my dark blue jean'ed lap inside my dark cab... his reaction: "don't point that F'in gun at me". My wife yelled back..."then get walking %%#!!!" very loudly.

It was obvious he had guns pointed at him before...because he just walked away cursing. I wasn't going to hold him or get out because I had two babies in the back seat to protect...and he was leaving in a hurry...and I wasn't going to leave my kids or chase him.

There are some real bad guys in Reno...you gotta watch it there...especially around parking lots and casinos.

See he was coming at me and it was in the middle of the night lots of drugies in that neighborhood Diamonds casino area is 3 blocks from montello street home of montello street gang also but anyways there was a shooting last night about a block from my house. Yes I live in the ghetto but dont have alot of money to live elswhere right now. He was coming at me from about 15 feet away and hey in that neighborhood.... Well lets say that in the last 2 months there have been 2 times cops shot someone in that area. So if someone is coming at you and is still coming in your direction I yelled STOP dont come any closer he kept coming. I felt i had no other option you know that if they are less than 21 feet its gonna be good luck drawing and firing if they are coming at you fast.
