I'd say....try to look more like them....wear khaki shirts and pants...dark sunglasses, mustache and cut your hair to look like Paunchorelo's.

Once they see you...it will be like looking in the mirror and it will confuse them into letting you go.

I got pulled over by the CHP last night. He was kinda gruff but nice enough.
"Parkers" lol! I have seen horrible bloody accidents in front of elementary schools, where the moms like to double park and then the whole thing turns into chaos when school bells ring. Thats the first place i ever saw someones intestines spill out onto the ground, no kidding, yuck. It was a distracted mom who got in a wreck with a motorcyclist.
I am all in favor of maintaining law and order amongst them wild and crazy soccer moms--safer for them, safer for the kids, and safer for the passing traffic.

LOL. Yeah, then you can ask the CHP motor officer "Do you want to be Seven Mary 3 or 4?"

I don't know what it's like down there, but in Cameron Park, they built several of the schools for year round school. That meant less concern about pick-up / drop-off as only about 2/3 of the kids would be in school at any one time. The parking lot/pick-up/drop off area sucked. NOW, they've decided to go back to the standard 9 month schedule... And it is a MADHOUSE. Partly due to the moms, but mostly because the stupid county planners and school board idiots.

I haven't been pulled over in 7 years but thanks to my last stop 7 years ago, I now carry a voice recorder in the car -

The officer was a young, testosterone-overloaded, probably on steriods wacko who initiated the stop by yanking my driver door open and screaming at me that he could write me a $5,000 speeding ticket (?) and asked if I could afford it. I kept my temper and was polite and got away without even a warning but I'll be prepared with a voice recording to pummel the jerk with lawyers if I ever have that kind of encounter again.

In case you're wondering, cops like this are not uncommon in the Police State of Arizona, I know plenty of people who've had similar and even worse experiences there.

Sounds like there is more to this story.

It is not a story. That's getting pulled over in the Republic of Arizona.

Wow...not good. Can you imagine if the citizen treated like that was also an off duty cop...or judge, or district attorney...or better yet...a senator?
Or worse yet... a parolee on a shooting spree.

Forget the PR part of it...it's bad officer safety and unprofessional.

I'll show you my driving record. Never had a ticket in my life. I'm the guy who gives my friends hell for failing to signal when I'm in the car. There's nothing more to the story

Like CCWI said ... that's Arizona.

It is all of his/her business, you are HIS/HERS SUSPECT.

Where is everybody coming up with this stuff?

WRONG AGAIN!!

Saying "Because the {insert issuing authority name here} issued me the permit" is probably the best first answer. If they continue to ask just tell them. They can't revoke your permit because they don't approve of the answer.

WRONG! #3
However, the issuing authority can pull your permit if you decide to have an attitude problem with the officer.

FINALLY YOU GOT ONE RIGHT!
YOU ALL NEED TO RE-READ PAGE 5 OF THE STATE APPLICATION AGAIN!
