Well good for her. She gave him every chance to leave. After emptying 2 drawers of money. I guess the third drawer was not the charm for him.

I can see where she might not want to risk her life and see if he was willing to leave a witness alive, after she gave him 2 drawers of money and now he was asking for a third drawer of money.

When I live in Marysville (right across the river) I always called it the Apalling Demogogue!!
