Default Got printed today

Was printed at the grocery store today, by a very nice lady who tapped my shoulder and quietly said that my gun was showing. I was reaching for items on the top shelf, and my polo shirt rode up. Time to rethink my concealment clothing.

Actually this wasn't the first time. CCWInstructor hit my gun with his hand one time after dinner this past July. Now I keep my arms low when hugging. No offense CCWI.

Bah! Your cloths are fine. Just get something long to knock the **** off
the top shelf, you'll be alright!

I've trained myself to reach with my off hand. This causes my left side to rise while my side is pushed down and keeps my gun covered.

Same here, although I do feel awkward doing it.

I have on two occasions had someone touch my side right on my handgun but neither said anything. These two were acquaintances with which I was working during nonprofit fund raising events and neither knows I carry or at least knew I was carrying.

Yeah, they probably thought what they felt was God's gift to CCWers....

You're a big guy, buy bigger shirts...go with Hawaiian type prints, buy them enormous, nobody will blink, because they will assume you are trying to cover fatness not guns. If on the other hand, you are trying to display your newer, sleeker, toned and fit booty, you will certainly have some concealment issues.

I wear huge shirts, carry a full size 5" 1911, and it conceals very well (I think!). Unfortunately, I had to abandon a lot of good shirts that just are not large enough to cover well.

I have so many "house only" shirts now as well. I jumped to XXL shirts to wear when I carry, and seldom have had any problems when reaching for things. At least none have been brought to my attention anyway, so I take it the huge shirts are working.

A few months ago I bought a shirt from Bass Pro Shops and when I went to check out the lady remarked at how complex the pattern on the shirt was. Of course that was the idea, I wear loose fitting, complex pattern untucked shirts for concealment.

I was at Costco last week wearing a black T-shirt and a XXL cover shirt un- buttoned as it was pretty hot.

My OWB TT Gunleather mag holder is on my left side and I keep my wallet on my left rear pocket. As I was getting my wallet I swept my shirt back and exposed my mag holder for just a split second until I realized what I was doing. No one saw a thing but the lesson learned is to reach around to the back and get the wallet.

My clothing choice was something new I was trying as I usually wear large un-tucked polo shirts.
