All I can say is DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN! Oops, my Billy Mays key got stuck.
 Poor guy, at least he got some help pro bono. What a nightmare! I wish there was some civil recourse for that guy. I wish he could sue the cops and the friend of the girlfriend and recoup some of his losses, which I am sure were great even with the pro bono help.

These types of encounters with law enforcement certainly do not engender good feelings from the citizenry. I know not all LEOs behave this way and I wish there was a way for the good LEOs to have a talk with these guys and straighten them out.
This guy describes how the cops were discussing how they could come up with something to charge him.  And how is it that the citizen knew more about the law in this area than the cops did?
