Default Courtyard by Mariott in Hesperia

Inquired about the hotels CCW policy at check in. They requested proof of CCW permit, and a copy, but had no other restrictions.

Anybody else had any similar requests at other hotels?

I stay at Marriott properties all the time, I've never even asked.

+1

Besides, it IS a temporary residence so you should be able to possess it legally in your room. I always take mine with me and I KEEP IT CONCEALED AND TO MYSELF.

Don't ask - Don't tell.
I only show my CCW during an official contact by law enforcement.

Count me in also, I never even bother asking.
Do you ask every buisness you go to what their policy is?
If they have a concern perhaps they should post it at the door and on their website so we know what hotels to go to and which ones not to.

You should never even ask, you have a CA issued valid CCW, no reason to broadcast it or ask.

OK, I get it. My sister is in hesperia, & I do not stat with her. Long story.

I was carrying in two long gun cases, and was asked how many guns I would have in the hotel. When I told the desk clerk I was concealing, athat nd they wanted proof that I was legal. Didn't anything of it.

I wont do it again. Thanks so much fot the advice guys.

I'll be home in a week, talk to you then.

Now that list of questioning would really PO me big time.... I'd be inclined to answer ... 42, why do you ask?

As for the "not staying at my sister's" .... I have five sisters and only stay in two of their places. I completely understand.

I once rolled a stack of gun cases through the lobby in AZ and nobody even flinched..... of course, it was at 11PM and the desk jockys were really tired.
