Default G23 and 13 round mags?

I've had my G23 since 1990 and have two pre-ban 13 round magazines that came with the gun. I was wondering, since I had the gun pre-ban can I get more 13 round mags? Or, did I miss out since these magazines can no longer be "imported" into California? Since everything seems to be flying off the shelves these days, I was thinking about picking up a few new magazines. Not to mention the fact that mine are almost 20 years old. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You missed out. Only 10 round magazines are legal to buy or bring into California at the moment, unless you're a LEO, regardless of how long you've had the weapon or what other magazines you own for it, or where you bought them.

You may be able to get rebuild kits for your existing mags though. Certainly you can replace the springs if they are getting tired.

I was afraid that I may have missed the boat on this one. I guess the lesson here is if you think anything could get banned(which I hope not) here in California, stock up when you have the chance. Thanks for your helpful information. I think a re-build of the magazines I have will do for now since I still carry the G23 with the 13 round mags!

my father did the same thing back before they banned high-cap. he has about 20 high cap glock mags, and some Glock 18 30rd mags for his glock 19

i must say they are very cool, but a shame that they are not transferable. he doesnt shoot much any more
