Surefire X400

I thought it looks cool, And its from surefire has anyone had a chance to try it out? I'm not sure that its worth the 450 ish price tag but it looks cool. I was thinking about adding a light to my 1911 that sleeps next to my bed may even get fancy and get a pressure swith on the handle.

Is it necessary? or just nice. And is the laser a have to have or just an extra bell or whistle to have?

Right now I have a surefire 9p and when theres a bump in the night I use that.

Right now I have a surefire 9p and when theres a bump in the night I use that.

I have the 300 with the pressure switch. Don't like the idea of the laser too much..... so I say spend less and get the 300.

yeah for 450 I'd rather buy another gun so I am going to fish for a used x300 or even a x200.

Yeah. Anything with the words "tactical", as in tactical pants, tactical boots, etc. is entitled to an automatic 400% price increase!! Ridiculous!!.
I can almost get a used gun for that much.!!
All it is, nothing but a method of giving away your location for the benefit and convenience of the bad guy!

I wonder if they make drop ins for the older models without a laser. That sounds like more lumens for less money.
