Magazine shortage
I hear thet Sig Sauer is going to start shipping their handguns with only 1 magazine as orders are up and supply cannot meet the demand.
So we officially now have a magazine shortage?

That figures!!!.
The cost of magazines for Glocks and others has escalated lately. I ordered some for my Glock30SF from OMB express. These guys have been very good in the past. They are taking an extraordinary long time, because now they are backordered. Don't tell me people are hoarding magazines too!!!. That is BS!!!. They are restricting production, like the oil companies did with the oil production, to drive the price of these items up. If you tell me there is a contraband of regular capacity magazines, that is one thing, but the restricted magazines? Only a handful of states require those. Of course, that would play into the hands of a government which wants all that has to do with firearms to go kaput! I am sure they will do nothing about this. Actually, look the other way. Let greed take care of what they view as a problem.

Last December, I asked Sportsman's Warehouse to let me know when they got in some 13 rnd mags for my P2000. Haven't heard from them. Went down the other day and sure enough, they had a "postit" w/my name & Ph# where the magazines are usually stored on the back wall.
Sportsmans Warehouse hasn't seen magazine one or bullet one since after the election. Oh, they do have some 10mm ammo.

XFFDO, That is what you get for buying a Glock!!
 actually there is a run on mags. But mostly ones that hold 10 plus rounds in them. I can get quality 1911 mags all day long.
