Default CCW Alternatives for Federal Court

I have had the honor of being selected as part of the jury pool for Federal court in Sacramento next month. I know I can't CCW or even carry my Kershaw Blur.

Would my Surefire E2DL and OC spray be permitted in the courthouse?

What tools can I carry in Federal Court?

Thanks

Forget it Bob. I've been to that court and have dealt directly with U.S. Marshals. No weapons of any kind...(oc spray). They check your cell phone. I wouldn't bother with the flashlight either.

I used to go to that court all the time and have had conversations with the agents about CCW. Unless you are a retired LEO...they won't let you in. BUT...they are cool about it...unlike Sacramento courts where they are completely different. Let's just say...type A they hate you vs. cool laid back with the agents in Fed court.

Funny story, while living in Arizona I sued someone in Federal court and one day had to stop by the courthouse to file something. I obviously was not carrying but had to remove my belt for the metal detector. One of the guards recognized my Galco gunbelt. He slowly nodded and gave me an approving smile.

Cool!

I had to go retrieve some paperwork from our local courthouse. I removed my gun and secured it in my car but left my ankle holster on. I thought the snap button on it was plastic. the metal detector went off and the guy asked me to lift my pant leg. I showed it to him and told him it was empty. Pretty much as soon as he saw it he waved me through no problem with the head nod.
