That looks great to me!

They have holes on the bottom so you can bolt them down if you wish.

Thanks. Going to order one and see how it goes.

yes I will bolt it down so it cannot be easily removed.

Thanks for the heads up on the V-Line. Much more reliable than a battery operated one.

I have two of the deluxe models. One next to the bed (cable locked) and one in the truck under the back seat (cable locked).

The one by the bed is obvious, the one in the truck is for when i end up at a county office or something and need to disarm.

I have had no problems with them to date. I've had them for about 18 months (IIRC) and the batteries are still good. IF they die, the keys work fine.

Luckily, i've not had any problems like Wiley, I hope his were an aberration!

One of the ones I have belonged to my dad. He always wrote dates on batteries when he put them in. When I installed it in this house I checked the batteries, they were 8 years old and working fine.

Now, he didn't open it often, but it's a datapoint.
