I do not know. The best source is to contact Ear Plugs USA directly to get that answer. The NRR is done under idea conditions where the ear plugs or muffs are worn properly. I know the foam disposable ones have a rating up in the 30's. However, that requires the plugs to be fully inserted and expanded to fill the ear canal. For me, these can get uncomfortable after a hour or two.

My experience with the custom molded ones have been good. They are much easier to put on properly and once they are properly inserted, they are very comfortable. My perception is that they are more effective than the foam ones. That could be totally psychological, people tell me I have that problem.

One caution about the custom molded plugs. They are very uncomfortable to make. She injects the silicon putty deep into your ear canal and the pressure was very uncomfortable for me. But after hearing the results, I'll put up with it.

Looks like a good find. I have been using the inexpensive ones from Sportsmans Guide for extras. I have a good set of Peltors for my primary usage.

I have had molds done many times for my hearing aids. The mold process is nothing at all and takes like 2-5 minutes.

OK. I'm a wimp!

I think she had it in at least 5 minutes.
