Streamlight looks pretty good. Does anyone know how they compare against similar Surefire products, like the X200? In the current Surefire Tactical magazine, it looks like they will be soon offering a light/laser combo as well, x300L. I'm thinking Surefire will be more expensive, so naturally I'm wondering if the extra cost is worth it, or if Streamlight quality is equal for less price.

I have the TL-1 streamlight on my HK USP and it's great. The SureFire might be slightly better to use as a hammer, but the TL-1 is very well built, and it's as bright as any of the small 2-CR123 xenon flashlights.

I just picked up my Surefire X300. Wow....I am nothing but impressed with this light. I had a X200A and a Streamlight M3 before this one. This blow's both of those out of the water. It's got a nice throw, with plenty of flood around the center beam. AND....it's cheaper than either of the X200's. It'll also still fit in all my holsters that were for the X200. There is a light vendor on AR15 that has them for under $180 IIRC. Nice guy to deal with. Made my order and two days later they showed up.
