Default Looking for a new G23

Good evening all, I'm looking for a new in the box G23 for everyday carry, I'm switching away from my XD40. I've been to all the local OC stores and nobody has one, and I can't get one imported into California, so I'm empty handed. Know anyone whose willing to sell a new one?

You could try here. A guy might be able to find one.

A quick look on Gunbroker showed 3 at least 1 said they would ship to CA. What is the problem, local gun stores don't like to work with internet, or can't get out of state dealers to supply sub standard 10 rd mags. Those evil 13 rounders are more dangerous after all. Never have ordered complete gun over internet. I don't have much experience. Good luck

When I was on Gunbroker last, which was a while ago, none of the ones I found would ship to California. The prices were right $5 - $550 but all had 13 rnd mags and specifically said would not ship to CA. Thanks for the look I'll go on and see what I can find, I have never bought off the internet either so I'm kind of leary.

One word of caution, The local handling and DROSS. I have talked to local FFL's and fey for PPT can run from $15 to $40. The same places can as much at tripple for internet transfers or makes no difference to them. It is like some don't like the competition. Make sure you check before you buy.

I carry a Glock 23. Just curious...why are you switching from the XD40 to the G23?

Carried the XD for 2 yrs, fought off the idea of Glock anything...then was offered a chance to spend a day behind one and it went very well. I shot it better than the XD, it just fit well and pointed better than I had expected. I happened to find one today and It'll be mine soon! I will still keep the XD, same caliber, and it will now be ready as backup.

Now all your G23 will need is a little brother (G27) for a proper backup. In fact you might be just as happy with the smaller one. I am.

"to the above mentioned" if you mean Proforce you need LEO ID to get in the door/buy.
