[quote=Rob P.;7455]Because the 9X19 9mm is the std for side arms just about everywhere in the world. On the battlefield, if you need ammo and it's an "exotic" caliber then you have to wait until you get resupplied from your own command. If they're late, you lose when you run short of bullets.

If your weapons shoot the same ammo as does your enemy, then everytime you capture the enemy and seize his weapons you get resupplied with ammo. Ditto when capturing the enemy ammo dumps.

Typical stratagy - make the enemy pay for your war effort.

If this were true we'd be shooting 762x39 and not 5.56. The military fights with rifles, pistols are almost an after thought.

I'm trying to find a ballistics video that saw a while back, but the 115gr, +P Cor-Bon 9mm are really violent. (They certainly take out watermelons nicely too).

...like my Vz52.

Even so, I still carry my 45 where ever I go.

I too love my .40 in my s&w 4006. I shoot SXT's and have never had a failure. I just picked up some 40 S&W Federal LE Tactical Bonded 180gr. HP Ammo. Im thinking of carring them in my PT140, any thoughts or experence with these? Thanks
