Yes, though we anticipate a short delay while the revolver is submitted to an independent test lab for state-mandated testing. After that, it will depend upon how long the state agencies take to place the LCR on the approved rosters.
Well that's good news!

Don't know what to say. Ruger recently has had a few false starts with their new products. They make excellent revolvers, ****ty semi autos.

Apparently these guys are starting to make it into CA.

They're definitely not going to win any beauty contests. Must be part of the charm.

They made the Turner's ad 9/11 - 9/17. $450, or $650 w/ lasergrips.

At least some of the Davidson's affiliates (includes Ade's - at least it used to (?), and Walker '47) have them listed for $413.99 / $623.29, but they're "allocated" to dealers already.

It would be nice if they had it available in 9mm. Will it hold up to long term usage? Will see!

Yes. I do not want to have to hunt for additional calibers. Out of the box thinking. Also better ballistics than your traditional 38 spec. What do you think?

Revolver in 9mm... that would mean some sort of a moon clip.... that means more headache then it's worth it and a solution to a problem that does not exist If I want better balistics then 38special, I'd get a 357

Good point!.
Don't want to mess with more calibers now. hard enough finding 9/40/45.

I have tested one of these guns. It shoots well, very light, will make a good conceal carry gun. I think I am talking myself into buying one
By the way, if you are near Fresno, the Range has an LCR you can rent, or if a member, free rent.

Thanks for the report. I'd like to try one myself.

I have one without the laser grips. It's a 38 +P. I've fired it using 38 special and it has some kick to it. The grips aren't that great. After shooting through about 50 rounds, my hand started to hurt. Having that short barrel gives it more kick. It took some time for me to get use to the short barrel but once I did my shots were more accurate. You can shoot through those five rounds really quick too if you aren't going for accuracy. Overall it's a great little gun. Very light and would be great for a back up to your primary conceal carry weapon.

Have you shot one of the S&W aluminum alloy or titanium J-frames to compare it?

Yeah. I have shot a S&W. I have shot two different ones. One had a 2 inch barrel and the other had about a 4 inch barrel. Both S&W's shot pretty well. They didn't cause any soreness in my hands. But wouldn't be that good for a back up carry gun. The Ruger LCR would be my choice for a back up gun.

Smith and Wesson used to make a 9mm Revolver that didn't need moon clips. Vintage Pistols - Smith & Wesson 547 Range Report
